I have known about Plum Village for the last three years from a good friend’s reference. At the time, my heart was very sad and disappointed about certain things that affected my dharma practice. I began losing some faith in the dharma. Suddenly a friend of mine met one of the sisters from the Plum Village and he referred me to her. He believes that the practice will help me nourish my nature, and the result was as I expected.  I found peace and recognized the beauty of mindfulness.

From the practice, I received control of my body, my mind, and emotions. I take more time to breathe properly, gaining patience, sharing gratitude, and accepting any perspective that happens in my life. Now I am devoting my love and energy to the practice and hope that whatever I have learned can be transmitted to others as the same fortune that I received.  Thank you to Sister Hoc Nghiem, Sc Tri Nghiem, especially SC Hy Nghiem,( Sister Joy) who allowed me to practice with them during my obstacle of my path.

Michelle’s favorite quote from Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh
