Luu Hau Tran

Assistant Treasurer

Luu Hau Tran has been working as an account manager/controller for more than 28 years at Japan Machine Tools Corp., Houston, TX. She heard about Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay)  by her late brother who went to Van Hanh University in Vietnam. She also read Thay’s book “Old Path white Cloud” and learned more about Thay through his Audio Dharma teachings.. 

Luu has been practicing mindfulness in the Plum Village tradition for more than two years. Luu feels that mindfulness is really helping her to be more understanding and appreciate everything she has. She would like to be part of Planting Seeds MPC because she believes the organization is able to preserve Thay’s wonderful practice and introduce it to every ones, especially the younger generation
